Philosophy

To be a successful instructional designer is to be constantly evaluating, updating, and improving materials, techniques, and yourself to provide the best possible service to your clients. I strive to continually re-evaluate and reassess my skills and tools in an effort to grow and develop as a designer. For each project that I develop formative and summative assessments are conducted. I use these assessment to reflect on my effectiveness as a designer and to refine my tool set.
My continued struggle to improve my skills, my willingness to serve my clients, and my strong evaluations indicate that I am progressing towards excellence in the area of curriculum and tutorial development.
Personal Mission
As an instructional designer my chief goal is to maximize the range and pedagogical effectiveness of technology. I want the tools of Instructional Technology to be available to people of all ages and backgrounds. My curriculum development work is grounded in careful analysis of users’ needs and capabilities in order to enhance/exploit the potential of technology to communicate with all learners. Not only do I strive to address diverse audiences, I seek versatile applications of Instructional Design values.
